
Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Two Beecher City residents were injured in an accident that occurred in Douglas Township last week.
According to a report from the Effingham County Sheriff’s Department, the accident occurred on Thursday, June 16th at 4:05pm at the intersection of Route 33 and 1200th Street.
The report states that a motorcycle, driven by 39 year old, Heath Warner, of Beecher City, was traveling along State Highway 33 and was attempting to turn north onto 1200th Street.
Warner’s motorcycle struck loose gravel causing him to lose control of the motorcycle and it laying onto its side.
Warner and his passenger, 67 year old, Nancy Warner, of Beecher City were taken to HSHS St Anthony’s Memorial Hospital for treatment of non-incapacitating injuries.
Warner was cited for operating a vehicle with a suspended registration.
