- Effingham Police arrested 26 year old Cassady M. McCracken of Altamont for aggravated battery to a medical worker. Cassady was taken to the Effingham County jail.
- Effingham Police arrested 31 year old Heather C. M. Wooters of Willow Hill, IL for a Richland County FTA warrant for driving on suspended license. Heather was given an NTA.

- At 4:19 P.M. at the intersection of Fayette and Linden an unknown vehicle sideswiped an Effingham City fire truck driven by Matthew R. Carpenter, 36, Effingham. No injuries and no citations at this time.
