- Effingham Police arrested 37 year old Jarrod M. Davis of Edgewood for a Clay County FTA warrant for driving while license suspended. Jarrod posted $375 and was released.
- Effingham Police arrested 22 year old Carl E. Carroll of Ramsey for obstructing justice, resisting a police officer, criminal damage to state supported property, and a Fayette County FTA warrant for theft >$500. Carl was given an NTA for the local charges and was taken to the Fayette County jail.
- Effingham Police arrested 39 year old Adam J. Pipkins of Effingham for an Effingham County FTA warrant for forgery/make/alter document, and a Clay County FTA warrant for possession of meth manu chem >15g. Adam was taken to the Effingham County jail.
CRASHES
February 9, 2022
- At 5:45 A.M. north of the intersection of Keller and Ford a vehicle driven by Tammy L. Buennemeyer, 50, Beecher City, struck a deer. No injuries and no citations.
- At 9:59 P.M. west of the intersection of Fayette and Willow a vehicle driven by Chatman F. Ruholl, 31, Effingham, struck and damaged an Ameren CIPS utility pole. No injuries. Ruholl was ticketed for Driving Under the Influence and Failure to Remain at the Scene of a Vehicle Damage Accident.
