- Effingham Police Department arrested 24-year-old Alexa J. Feldhake of Effingham. Feldhake was arrested on charges of possession of meth under five grams. Feldhake was given a notice to appear and released.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 32-year-old Stephen J. Lofton of Olney. Lofton was arrested on a Effingham County warrant for obstruction of justice. Lofton is still in custody.
- Effingham Police Department arrested 37-year-old Dylan T. Bovay of Effingham. Bovay was arrested on charges of aggressive battery to a police officer, reckless conduct, aggravated assault, resisting a police officer, attempted aggravated arson, reckless driving and endangering the life of a child. Bovay is still in custody.

- At 11:13 A.M. at the intersection of Evergreen and Keller a vehicle driven by Gerald L. Wyckoff, 88, Effingham, pulled into the path of and was struck by a vehicle driven by Kylee N. Cown, 27, Newton. No injuries and no citations.
- At 11:57 A.M. in the 200th block of Henrietta a vehicle driven by Taylor K. Russell, 30, Strasburg, sideswiped a vehicle driven by Kelly C. McWhorter, 50, Effingham. No injuries and no citations.
