- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 35-year-old Michael B. Kios of Effingham. Kios was arrested on a failure to appear on an Effingham County warrant for property damage less than $5000. Kios posted bond and was released
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 22-year-old Alexis C. Gutierrez of Effingham. Gutierrez was arrested on a Effingham County failure to appear warrant for possession of meth under five grams. Gutierrez was given a notice to appear and released.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 32-year-old Billy J. Cripe of Altamont. Cripe was arrested on a warrant for possession of a controlled substance. Cripe was given a notice to appear and released.
- Effingham Police Department arrested 25-year-old Kenneth R. Williams of Windsor. Williams was arrested on charges of driving without a license, obstruction of justice, and a Indiana State warrant for burglary. Williams is still in custody.

- At 12:12 P.M. at the intersection of 3rd and Technology a vehicle driven by Olivia D. Lewis, 27, Dieterich, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Jacquelynne P. Witteborg, 18, Beecher City. No injuries and no citations.
- At 3:13 P.M. at the intersection of Maple and Fayette a vehicle driven by Jean L. Harris, 52, Farina, struck a vehicle driven by Amanda C. Hirtzel, 46, Effingham. Hirtzel sustained injuries and was transported by ambulance to HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital for treatment. Harris was ticketed for Disobeying Traffic Control Device.
