Effingham County Jail
- Effingham Police Department arrested 35-year-old Michael J. Townsend of Effingham. Townsend was arrested on charges of domestic battery and is still is custody.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 29-year-old Endasia M. Boyd of Indianapolis. Boyd was arrested on a Cumberland County failure to appear warrant for driving with a suspended license. Boyd was released after posted $275 bail.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 20-year-old Cassandra Hartke of Newton. Hartke was arrested on charges of DUI/Alcohol, possession of alcohol by a minor and illegal transportation of alcohol by a minor. Hartke is still in custody.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 35-year-old Nathan A. Roley of Effingham. Roley was arrested on a Effingham County warrant for accumulation of garbage/junk. Roley was released after post $100 bail.
- Effingham Police Department arrested 32-year-old Zachary R. Weir of Newton. Weir was arrested on charges of possession of meth less than five grams and possession of a hypodermic needle.
