Effingham County Jail
- Effingham Police Department arrested 32-year-old Dustin R. Hudson of Charleston. Hudson was arrested for violating an order of protect and is still in custody at the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham Police Department arrested 29-year old Kendrick R. Thomas of Effingham. Thomas was arrested on charges of domestic battery, criminal damage to property, and violation of IDOC parole warrant. Thomas is still in custody at the Effingham County Jail.
- Altamont Police Department arrested 54-year-old Vicky L. Kendrick of Thornsfield, Missouri. Kendrick was arrested on charges of driving with a revoked license and illegal possession of cannabis by a driver. Kendrick was released and given a notice to appear.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 30-year-old Edwin C. Tappan of Watson. Tappan was arrested on charges of violation of bail bond and is still in custody.

- At 5:55 PM at the intersection of Avenue of Mid America and N. Keller a vehicle driven by Karen M. Bales, 60, Effingham, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Travis D. Ingram, 30, Effingham. No injuries and no citations.
