- Illinois State Police arrested 33 year old Andrew W. Welter of Effingham for an Effingham County original warrant for aggravated DUI of alcohol causing death. Andrew was taken to the Effingham County jail.
- Effingham Police arrested 22 year old Dawn M. Carter of Watson for an Effingham County FTA warrant for driving on a suspended license. Dawn posted $425 and was released.

- Effingham Police arrested 24 year old Alexandar E. Gray of Effingham for mitt to IDOC for 30 months. Alexandar was taken to the Effingham County jail.

- At 1:00 P.M. at the intersection of Jefferson and Merchant a vehicle driven by Eileen R. Wall, 80, Effingham, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Gayla S. Land, 60, Flora. No injuries and no citations.

- At 1:05 P.M. at 1510 W. Fayette a vehicle driven by Hunter M. Cripe, 18, Altamont, backed into a parked vehicle owned by Nathan Wilson, Noble. No injuries. Cripe was ticketed for No Liability Insurance.

- At 10:17 A.M. at 1305 N. Keller a vehicle driven by Brooke A. Hansen, 30, Effingham, struck a vehicle driven by Fawn R. Garcia, 41, Oblong. No injuries and no citations.
