- Effingham Police arrested 41 year old Sean A. Curtiss of Effingham for 2 counts of domestic battery. Sean was taken to the Effingham County jail.
- Effingham Police arrested 33 year old Joshua A. Durre of Effingham for residential burglary. Joshua was taken to the Effingham County jail.
- Effingham Police arrested 46 year old Heather M. Lindemann of Effingham for obstructing justice, resisting a police officer, an Effingham County warrant for aggravated possession of stolen firearm, possession of stolen firearm. Heather was taken to the Effingham County jail.
- Effingham Police arrested 40 year old Joshua M. Lister of Beecher City for aggravated battery and assault. Joshua was taken to the Effingham County jail.
April 13, 2021
- Illinois State Police arrested 33 year old Andrew W. Welter of Effingham for an Effingham County original warrant for aggravated DUI of alcohol causing death. Andrew was taken to the Effingham County jail.
- Effingham Police arrested 22 year old Dawn M. Carter of Watson for an Effingham County FTA warrant for driving on a suspended license. Dawn posted $425 and was released.

- At 2:28 P.M. at the intersection of Temple and Merchant a vehicle driven by Cassandra J. Hartke, 20, Newton, struck a vehicle driven by Tami J. Hutchinson, 54, Effingham. No injuries. Hartke was ticketed for Disobeying Traffic Control Device.
