April 8, 2021
- Effingham Police arrested 32 year old Stephanie N. Dulaney of Effingham for a Cumberland County FTA warrant for bad checks. Stephanie posted $175 and was released.
- US Marshals arrested 65 year old Ricky A. Matlock of Edgewod for a charge from the United States Marshal Southern District- detainer for possession of meth with intent to deliver. Ricky was taken to the Effingham County jail.
- Effingham Police arrested 36 year old Trenton A. Niemeyer of Effingham for an Effingham County FTA warrant for contempt of court. Trenton was taken to the Effingham County jail.
- Effingham Police arrested 49 year old Amber A. Willenborg of Clay City for possession of meth, drug paraphernalia, controlled substance, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle and improper display of registration. Amber was given an NTA and was released.
April 9, 2021
- Effingham Police arrested 27 year old Miranda B. Davis of Effingham for possession of <5g of meth and drug paraphernalia. Miranda was given an NTA and was released.
- Effingham Police arrested 25 year old Cole D. Hanley of Sigel for mittimus to IDOC 3 years for residential burglary. Cole was sentenced to IDOC.
- Effingham Police arrested 22 year old Hunter D. Gregory of Louisville for domestic battery and unlawful restraint. Hunter was taken to the Effingham County jail.

CRASHES
April 6, 2021
- At 2:59 P.M. at the intersection of Keller and Evergreen a vehicle driven by Justin L. Lofton, 39, Washington, IN, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Hailey D. Davis, 30, Greenup, causing Davis’ vehicle to rear-end a vehicle driven by Victor G. Wagy, 59, Effingham. After the initial impact, Lofton’s vehicle left the roadway and overturned. No injuries. Lofton was ticketed for Driving While License Revoked and Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident.

- At 2:43 P.M. at the intersection of Henrietta and Grove a vehicle driven by Christina L. Belisle, 39, Effingham, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Jill A. Murphy, 56, Effingham. No injuries and no citations.
