- Effingham Police arrested 27 year old Cody L. Laue of Effingham for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, delivery of <15g of fentanyl, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of hypo needle, possession of a controlled substance. Cody was taken to the Effingham County jail.
- Effingham Police arrested 22 year old Shyanne L. McCarty of Effingham for possession of controlled substance with intent to deliver, delivery of <15g of fentanyl, possession of hypo needle, possession of meth. Shyanne was taken to the Effingham County jail.
April 6, 2021
- Effingham Police arrested 60 year old Steven L. Wyant of Mt. Vernon for DUI alcohol, improper lane usage, and speeding. Steven was given an NTA and released.
- Effingham Police arrested 34 year old Daniel W. Hoyer of Effingham for forgery and identity theft. Daniel was taken to the Effingham County jail.
