EFFINGHAM COUNTY JAIL

March 15, 2021

Effingham Police arrested 48 year old David W. Weatherman of Altamont for domestic battery, aggravated battery, an Effingham County original warrant for domestic battery. David was taken to the Effingham County jail.
Effingham Police arrested 37 year old Stacey L. Clifton of Effingham for DUI alcohol. Stacey was given an NTA and was released.

March 16, 2021

Effingham Police arrested 40 year old Joshua S. Koonce of Wheeler for an Effingham County attachment for contempt. Joshua posted $100 and was released.
Effingham Police arrested 35 year old Tracy D. Repp of Effingham for an Effingham County failure to appear warrant for aggravated battery to a police officer. Tracy was given an NTA and was released.
Effingham Police arrested 19 year old Zion E. Mace of Effingham for an Effingham County FTA warrant for an original charge of home invasion with a firearm. Zion posted $1075 and was released.
Effingham Police arrested 63 year old Cindy L. Smith of Herrick for disorderly conduct false 911 call, disorderly conduct breach of peace, and resisting arrest. Cindy was taken to the Effingham County jail.

March 11, 2021

At 7:58 A.M. at 515 St. Anthony a vehicle driven by Ronald S. Dare, 56, Effingham, left the roadway and struck and damaged landscaping and an apartment building owned by Darlene Buehnerkemper, Teutopolis. During the incident, landscaping owned by Larry Lambert, Effingham, incurred damage as well. Dare and a passenger in Dare’s vehicle, Martin D. Shadwell, 64, Effingham, both sustained injuries and were transported by ambulance to HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital for treatment. No occupants of the apartment building suffered injuries. Dare was ticketed for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident.
At 3:39 P.M. at the intersection of Keller and Evergreen a vehicle driven by Ann L. Thomas, 65, Effingham, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Patti J. Finley, 63, Edgewood. No injuries and no citations.
At 10:12 P.M. at the intersection of Henrietta and Fayette a vehicle driven by Tracey L. Skolasinski, 33, Effingham, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Stacy N. Byers, 37, Effingham. No injuries and no citations.

At 12:15 P.M. at 3601 S. Banker a vehicle driven by Brandon J. Fancher, 27, Farina, backed into a parked vehicle owned by Eric Light, Effingham. No injuries and no citations.
