- At 8:04 PM 150 feet west of E. Jaycee and S. 4th John C. Beam, 62, Effingham, a pedestrian, was walking in the roadway and was struck by a vehicle driven by Kylee V. Hoelscher, 18, Effingham. Beam sustained injuries and was transported by ambulance to HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital. No citations.
