- 34 year old, Jessica D Richardson, of San Leon, Texas was arrested by the Illinois State Police on a Vermillion County failure to appear warrant. Richardson posted $300.
- 27 year old, Tara B Szarek, of Edgewood was arrested by the Effingham Police Department for burglary.
- 32 year old, Lori A Meinhart, of Springfield was arrested by the Effingham Police Department for retail theft. Meinhart posted $150.

- At 7:53 A.M. at the intersection of Fayette and 4th a vehicle driven by Derek J. Kuhl, 16, Dieterich, rear-ended a vehicle driven by William D. Lester, 22, Wheeler. No injuries. Kuhl was ticketed for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident.
- At 4:03 P.M. east of the intersection of Fayette and Walnut a vehicle driven by John A. Kenter, 27, Effingham, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Allison J. Meinhart, 31, Dieterich. No injuries. Kenter was ticketed for Driving While License Revoked and Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident.

- At 2:50 P.M. at the intersection of 3rd and the I57 NB/I70 EB entrance ramp an unknown semi backed into a vehicle driven by Alec W. Niebrugge, 22, Effingham. No injuries and no citations at this time.
