- At 4:45 P.M. at the intersection of Fayette and Maple a vehicle driven by Mathew C. Stuckey, 39, Mattoon, turned into the path of and was struck by a vehicle driven by James E. Ross, 55, Effingham. No injuries and no citations.
April 22, 2019
- At 11:15 A.M. at the intersection of Keller and Evergreen a vehicle driven by Jeremy W. Coomer, 39, Fairfield, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Harry L. Fehrenbacher, 71, Newton. A third vehicle driven by Amber M. Rodrigues, 28, Millerton, PA, subsequently rear-ended Coomer’s vehicle. No injuries. Coomer was ticketed for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident.
