- At 12:30 P.M. at the intersection of Keller and Ave of Mid America an unknown vehicle sideswiped a vehicle driven by Candice J. Smith, 62, Altamont. No injuries and no citations at this time.

- At 3:50 P.M. at the intersection of Fayette and Maple a vehicle driven by Madison L. Vail, 16, Dieterich, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Laurie M. Dasenbrock, 51, Effingham, causing Dasenbrock’s vehicle to rear-end a vehicle driven by Courtney L. Russell, 19, St. Elmo. Vail sustained injuries but refused treatment. Russell sustained injuries and was transported by ambulance to HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital for treatment. Vail was ticketed for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident.
