- 30 year old, Curtis L. Jordan, of Dermott, AR, was arrested by Illinois State Police for Driving While License Is Suspended and Speeding (>25-35 MPH). Jordan posted $150 and was released.
- 58 year old, David P. Kinison, of Mt. Vernon, IL, was arrested by Effingham Police Department for Domestic Battery.
- 40 year old, Michelle L. Harrelson, of Dyersburg, TN, was transported by Security Transport to Effingham County on an Effingham County FTA Warrant for Possession Of Methamphetamine (<5 grams).

- At 4:45 P.M. at 1509 W. Fayette a vehicle driven by Jared M. Purcell, 33, Effingham, was struck by a cow which was loose in the roadway. No injuries and no citations.

- At 7:30 P.M. at 1310 N. 3rd a vehicle driven by Megan S. Koenig, 16, Effingham, struck a deer. No injuries and no citations.
