- 57 year old, Donald W. Britton, of Effingham, IL was arrested by Effingham County Sheriff’s Department on a Fayette County warrant for Failure To Appear on the original charge of Domestic Battery. Britton was released to Fayette County.
- 51 year old, Rob R. French, of Altamont, IL was arrested by Effingham County Sheriff’s Department on an Effingham County warrant for Failure To Appear on the original charge of Theft.
- 42 year old, Matthew F. Beitz, of Stewardson, IL was arrested by Illinois State Police for Driving While License Is Suspended, Operating An Uninsured Motor Vehicle, No Seat Belt, Failure To Properly Secure A Child Under 8 In A Child Restraint System. Beitz posted $150.
- 29 year old, Andrew S. Cox, of Watson, IL was arrested by Effingham County Sheriff’s Department on an Effingham County warrant for Failure To Appear on the original charge of Driving Under The Influence (Alcohol). Cox posted $375.
- 19 year old, Steven A. Jarden, of Effingham, IL was arrested by Effingham Police Department for Burglary, Criminal Damage To A Place Of Worship, and a Fayette County warrant for Failure To Appear on the original charge of Burglary.
- 24 year old, Jacob D. Beck, of Charleston, IL was arrested by Effingham County Sheriff’s Department on a Jasper County warrant for Failure To Appear on the original charge of Burglary.
- 31 year old, Aaron D. Thiery, of Herrick, IL was arrested by Effingham County Sheriff’s Department on a Bond County warrant for Operating An Uninsured Motor Vehicle and Failure To Wear Seat Belt.

February 14, 2019
- At 12:15 P.M. at the intersection of N. Keller and W. Temple a vehicle driven by Marjorie A. Evans, 29, Effingham, struck a vehicle driven by Monica L. Wilhour, 37, Altamont. Evans sustained injury but refused treatment. Wilhour also sustained injury and was transported to HSHS St. Anthony Memorial Hospital by Abbott EMS. Evans was ticketed for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident and Unsafe Equipment.
- At 4:10 P.M. at the intersection of S. Banker and W. Wabash a vehicle driven by Sean P. Ohoro, 19, Aurora, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Elizabeth M. Wiley, 16, Louisville. No injuries. Ohoro was ticketed for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident.

- At 11:20 A.M. at 1000 N. Keller a vehicle driven by Barbara E. McMahan, 63, Effingham, backed into a parked vehicle owned by Donald D. Niehart, Effingham. No injuries and no citations.
- At 1:28 P.M. a vehicle driven by Michael E. Nordhaus, 41, Beecher City, struck a vehicle driven by Julie M. Micciancio, 44, Louisville. No Inuries. Nordhaus was ticketed for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident.
