- At 8:42 P.M. at 607 S. 3rd an unknown vehicle struck a parked vehicle owned by Dawn R. Florido, Effingham and then struck a gas main. No injuries and no citations at this time.

- At 1:12 A.M. at 307 N. Banker a vehicle driven by Kyle A. Hargis, 31, Effingham, struck a parked vehicle owned by Clinton L. Nunamaker, Effingham. No injuries. Hargis was ticketed for Driving Under the Influence and Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident.
