- 33 year old, Jennifer L. Brown, of Ramsey, IL, was arrested by Effingham County Sheriff’s Department on a Jasper County warrant for Failure To Appear on the original charge of Possession Of Controlled Substances. Brown was transferred to Jasper County.
- 38 year old, Byron L. Ashley, of Effingham, IL, was arrested by Effingham Police Department on a Jasper County warrant for Failure To Appear on the original charge of Driving Under The Influence (Alcohol).

- At 12:28 A.M. north of the intersection of Keller and Ave of Mid America a vehicle driven by Brandon L. Beccue, 29, Edgewood, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Rhonda M. Myers, 58, Ramsey. Myers sustained injuries but refused treatment. No citations.

- At 7:22 A.M. at 1000 W. Fayette a vehicle driven by Frank A. Rizo, 23, Altamont, backed into a parked vehicle owned by Jankee Patel, Effingham. No injuries and no citations.
- At 5:08 P.M. at the intersection of Fayette and 4th a vehicle driven by Bryant S. Sidwell, 16, Watson, turned in front of and was struck by a vehicle driven by Gary L. Goldstein, 48, Altamont. No injuries and no citations.
January 26, 2019
- At 12:45 P.M. east of the intersection of Fayette and Walnut a vehicle driven by Anna M. Burk, 77, Effingham, struck a vehicle driven by Jose C. Archaimbault, 67, Effingham. No injuries and no citations.
- At 4:57 P.M. at 1204 Ave of Mid America a vehicle driven by Tyson D. Jones, 36, Watson, struck and damaged a concrete post owned by Walmart. No injuries and no citations.
January 27, 2019
- At 8:51 A.M. at the intersection of Keller and Ford vehicles driven by Sherry E. Wright, 47, Beecher City, and Andrea L. Baker, 51, Neoga, collided. Wright sustained injuries but refused treatment. Wright was ticketed for Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle.
- At 3:58 P.M. at the intersection of Evergreen and 3rd vehicles driven by James A. Sharp, 33, Altamont, and Haley B. Gates, 25, St. Elmo, collided. No injuries. Gates was ticketed for Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle.
