High School Girls Basketball
Altamont improved to 9-1 on the season as they got a win 73-22 over Okaw Valley. Scoring for the Lady Indians Runge and Jackman both led the way with 14 points, Mayhaus 13, Tinley Mette 9, Schultz 8, Guse 6, McManaway 4, Hardiek 3 and Taylor Mette. Altamont won the JV contest 46-4.

St. Anthony won 60-37 against CHBC. Scoring for the Lady Bulldogs McHugh led the way with 26 points, Guy 8, Kinkelaar 8, Richards 8, Gibson 4, Repking 2, Hartke 2 and Beesley had 2. Scoring for CHBC Robertson had 17 points, Cheery 13, Persinger 2, Lorton 2, Morrison 2 and Endsley had 1. St. Anthony is now 7-3 overall and 3-1 in the NTC. St. A won the JV contest 36-21

Teutopolis won 72-39 against St. Joe Ogden. Scoring for the Shoes Niebrugge had a big game 32 points, Pruemer 17, Niemerg 11, Mette 4, Bueker 4, Grimes 2, Deters 2 and Roepke had 2. For St. Joe Trimble had 15 points to lead the way.

Effingham bounced back from their first loss of the season as they defeated Taylorville 56-23. Scoring for the Hearts Abby Weis led the way with 17 points, Natalie Carie 11, Fox 8, Buscher 7, Schafer 5, Kuhlman 4, Armstrong 3 and Koester 1. The Lady Hearts improve to 7-1 on the season and 2-1 in the Apollo.

Junior High Girls Basketball
The Lady Wildcats from Altamont captured 3rd Place at the 7th Grade 2A state tournament as they defeated Brimfield 36-32. Altamont finishes the season with a 20-9 record.
Junior High Boys Basketball
In 7th Grade action Effingham defeated Mattoon 32-14. EJHS improve to 5-8 on the season.
Also in 7th Grade action Charleston defeated St. Anthony 49-35
Fresh/Soph Boys Basketball
St. Anthony took both games against Sullivan. In the freshman contest St. A was victorious 39-15 and in the sophomore contest St. A won 41-10.
