EFFINGHAM, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The Effingham City Council is set to meet on Tuesday at 6:00pm.
During the meeting, Mayor Bloemker will make a proclamation for United Way Week.
The Council will also discuss and take possible action on a number of items.
These include an ordinance denying a petition for rezoning a property from non-urban to R-1 Single-Family Residence, an ordinance that declares 1910 South Banker (The Village Square Mall) and improvements thereon as being dangerous and unsafe, and an ordinance declaring 89 Village Square Mall/1910 South Banker (Prior Wabash Tire Building) and improvements thereon as being dangerous and unsafe.
Additionally, the Tourism Director, Jodi Thoele, will present the 1st Quarter Tourism Report to the Council.
The Effingham City Council will meet in the City Council Chambers at 201 East Jefferson Avenue in Effingham.
