The Altamont Board of Education is set to hold meetings on Monday and Tuesday.
During the meeting on Monday, the Board will hear administrative reports and will discuss and act on the consent agenda. Additionally, the Board will discuss and possibly act on 8 items of old business, go into closed session, and discuss and act on four items of new business. In old business, the Board will discuss the final reading of board policy updates, the AGS assessment data and curriculum update, consider mystery science for AGS, consider a 5th grade basketball program for 2018-2019, review the Chromebook bids, hear the building and grounds report, and discuss the High School Athletic Director/Assistant Principal position. In new business, the Board will discuss resignations of non-certified staff, early graduation requests, the Southeast Purchasing Cooperative Agreement, and authorize the Superintendent to seek bids for bread, milk, and donuts.
During the special meeting on Tuesday, the Board will discuss the Board Goal setting.
Both meetings will be held at 7:00pm at the Unit Office on South Ewing Street.
