Effingham, Ill –One of the last things a family would ever want to endure is a fire in their home.
According to the United States Fire Administration (USFA) In 2014, there we approximate 2 deaths, and 11 injuries for every 1000 reported fires in the nation.
In 2016, 77 fatalities caused by home fires were reported in Illinois.
With this week being Fire Prevention Week, the Illinois Fire Safety Alliance shares tips on how to prepare for a fire incident in the home.
