UPDATE: According to the Casey Police Department’s Facebook Page, the Department has arrested two male juveniles and one female juvenile suspects in connection with the criminal damage to property at the Country Club. The investigation is on-going for the vandalism that occurred at the 1890 Sleepover.
The Casey Police Department is investigating two reports of vandalism that occurred either during Tuesday night or in the early morning hours of Wednesday.
According to the Casey Police Department’s Facebook Page, the department was alerted to two reports of vandalism on Wednesday morning. The first reported vandalism took place at the Casey Country Club, where the suspects gained access to keys to five golf carts and took them joyriding. The suspects drove across six of the club’s greens and damaged the golf carts. Three of these carts were severely damaged, leaving them inoperable. According to the Facebook post, one resident reported seeing one of the golf carts at approximately 3:30am in the area of 4th and Main.
The second reported vandalism took place at the 1890 Sleepover. According to the Facebook post, the suspects gained entry into the building from a rear door. They proceeded to then use an object and break several items and damage cabinets.
