- 43 year old, Chad T. Fuller, of Delmar, Maryland was arrested by the Altamont Police Department for driving while license is suspended and possession of 10 to 30 grams of cannabis.
- 33 year old, Troy A. Scott, of Tucson, Arizona was arrested by the Altamont Police Department for possession of Methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
- 20 year old, Dalton R. Ard, of Teutopolis was arrested by the Effingham County Sheriff’s Department on a Department of Corrections mittimus sentence of 3 years for robbery and domestic battery.
- 27 year old, Megan E. Treat, of Collinsville was arrested by the Effingham County Sheriff’s Department on an Effingham County failure to appear warrant for possession of less than 5 grams of Methamphetamine.

July 11, 2017
- At 3:34pm at the intersection of Fayette and 3rd, a vehicle driven by 26 year old, Haley R. Herboth, of Effingham turned into the path of and was struck by 71 year old, Stephen L. Sehy, of Teutopolis. No injuries were reported. Herboth was ticketed for failure to yield.
- At 7:30pm at the intersection of Keller and Evergreen, a vehicle driven by 44 year old, Paul R. Karrick, of Effingham rear-ended a vehicle driven by 54 year old, Margaret R. Meylor, of Effingham. No injuries or citations were reported.

- 27 year old, Heidi M Hood, of Effingham was cited for possession of a controlled substance.
- 57 year old, Percy Hood, of Effingham was cited for possession of 10 to 30 grams of cannabis.
- 30 year old, Jonathan A. Rojas, homeless was cited for possession of Methamphetamine.
- 48 year old, Maria F. Hood, of Effingham was cited for delivery of Methamphetamine and possession of Methamphetamine.

Arrests
July 11, 2017
- 58 year old, Charles E. Chase, of Clay City was arrested for an outstanding Clay County warrant for driving while license is revoked and fleeing or attempting to elude a peace officer. Chase is currently incarcerated in the Clay County Jail.
- 57 year old, David E. Dicus, of Noble was arrested for possession of Methamphetamine with intent to deliver, obstructing justice, driving while license is revoked, and fleeing or attempting to elude a peace officer. He is currently incarcerated in the Clay County Jail.
July 12, 2017
- 30 year old, Ashley Belcher, of Farina was arrested for an outstanding Clay County warrant for violation of bond. She is currently incarcerated in the Clay County Jail.
Crashes
July 11, 2017
- The Clay County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a motor vehicle accident at 4:15 p.m. at the intersection of Rt. 45 and Hiram Street in Louisville. Apparently Sharon Porter, 52, Louisville, operating a 2007 Honda van was travelling south on Rt 45 and slowed for traffic and was struck by another southbound vehicle, operated by a 16 year old juvenile from Mason, who was operating a 1987 Dodge truck. No injuries reported.
