- 20 year old, William R. Carter, of Effingham was arrested by the Effingham Police Department for manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance.
- 18 year old, Daisy Hillis, of Effingham was arrested by the Effingham County Sheriff’s Department on Effingham County failure to appear warrant for possession of less than 5 grams of Methamphetamine. Hillis posted $1575.
- 34 year old, Dawn M. Erickson, of Watson was arrested by the Effingham County Sheriff’s Department on an Effingham County failure to appear warrant for less than 15 grams of a Methamphetamine precursor. Erickson posted $575.
- 46 year old, Lloyd N. Allen Jr, of Effingham was arrested by the Effingham County Sheriff’s Department on an Effingham County attachment for contempt. Allen posted $100.
- 42 year old, Heather R. Allen, of Effingham was arrested by the Effingham County Sheriff’s Department on an Effingham County attachment for contempt. Allen posted $100.
- 46 year old, Ronald D. Screier, of Effingham was arrested by the Effingham Police Department for disorderly conduct.

- 26 year old, Landon S. Duckwitz, of Altamont was arrested by the Effingham Police Department for driving while under the influence of alcohol, improper parking in a roadway, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and illegal transportation of alcohol by a driver. Duckwitz posted $100 and a valid driver’s license.

May 10, 2017
- At 3:36pm in the 1500 block of South Banker, a vehicle driven by 29 year old, Daniel B. Stanford, of Shelbyville rear-ended a vehicle driven by 59 year old, David D. Mesnard, of Edgewood. The impact caused Mesnard to rear-end a vehicle driven by 22 year old, Macci R. Lock, of Effingham. Mesnard’s passenger, 17 year old, Devan M. Pontious, of Effingham sustained injuries and was taken by ambulance to HSHS St Anthony’s Memorial Hospital for treatment. Stanford was ticketed for following too closely.

Investigations
- Police are investigating the theft of a wallet from a purse that was in a shopping cart that occurred at 1204 Avenue of Mid America between 10:50am and 11:16am on May 10th. A wallet valued at $10, a driver’s license, insurance cards, and undetermined amount of cash were taken.

- 26 year old, Mercedes Gosnell, of Noble was arrested on an outstanding Clay County failure to appear warrant for deceptive practice. Her bond was set at $3,000 (10%) with a $75 warrant fee. She posted bond later that day.

- 33 year old, Chelsea Sipes, of Shumway was arrested on an outstanding Clay County failure to appear warrant for unlawful possession of a controlled substance. Her bond was set at $3,000 (10%) with a $75 warrant fee. She later posted bond.

- 24 year old, Kohl Harrison, of Lousiville was arrested on an outstanding Clay County failure to appear warrant for possession of a controlled substance. Harrison’s bond was set at $3,000 (10%) plus a $75 warrant fee. He later posted bond.

- 25 year old, Cody A. Persinger, of Xenia was arrested for petition to revoke probation for unlawful use of property. His bond was set at $5,000 (10%). He later posted bond.

- 22 year old, Dalton Snell, of Clay City was arrested for violation of bail bond. His bond was set at $25,000 (10%) and he is currently still in jail.

- 33 year old, Renee L. Pride, of Louisville was arrested on an outstanding Clay County failure to appear warrant for driving while license is suspended. Her bond was set at $2,000 (10%) with a $75 warrant fee. She later posted bond.
May 12, 2017
- 39 year old, Tiffiney Miller, of Flora was arrested on an outstanding Clay County warrant for unlawful possession of Methamphetamine. Her bond was set at $15,000 (10%). She is currently still in jail.
