Mayor Cinda Held and Mitch Stewart
Strasburg, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Mitch Stewart, a young Strasburg Lion’s Club member, contributed his talents and abilities to update and enhance the park during this year’s Strasburg Park Renovation. He worked to get a new fence around the ball diamond, worked with Ameren to update the ballpark lights to LED and did a great job coordinating other projects at the Strasburg Park.
Mitch spent several of his days off to be around the park to do whatever was needed. His time and knowledge were a great resource for improving many of the projects during the park renovation.
Mitch was presented with his award during the Community Wiener Roast held on Friday, September 18 at the Strasburg Park. Presenting the award was Mayor Cinda Held.
