
Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The Effingham County Administrative Committee met on Monday and made a few different proclamations and discussed insurance, FY27 budget, and FY26 tax levy.
The Committee first heard an update on the Opioid fund, hearing that there were no updates and no new requests. The Committee then made proclamations for:
- National 4-H Week
- National Disability Employment Awareness Week
- International Day Of Service (to end domestic violence)
- Chamber Of Commerce Week
The Committee then approved $15K for the Effingham Regional Growth Alliance, $2K for the Chamber of Commerce Trade, Skills, & Manufacturing Day at the Effingham Event Center, usage of Capitol Improvement Funds for the County Drop Box, and will be looking at ways to help pay for the Effingham County Museum parking lot resurface.
The Committee also gave updates on the solar and wind ordinances for the county, and discussed the FY 27 health insurance renewal and incentive, and the FY27 budget and tax levy. You can view the meeting for more details here: https://youtu.be/awBf6fHvwrQ.
