Vicky Mae Armstrong, 74, of West Salem, Illinois, passed away at 9:02 PM on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.
Private family services will be held. Arrangements are under the care of Meyer Funeral Home in Olney, Illinois. In loving memory of Vicky, memorials donations to help with expenses can be made to the Meyer Funeral Home, 945 South West Street, Olney, Illinois 62450.
Vicky was born on December 18, 1951, in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Helen Scobey. She married Robert Armstrong in 1971, and he preceded her in death on May 16, 2006.
Vicky was a homemaker, loving mother, grandmother and sister. She enjoyed crocheting.
Vicky is survived by her grandchildren Autumn Francis, Zach Francis and Bree Francis, son-in-law Shawn Francis, brother Robert Harvey of Moline, Illinois and sister Ellen Graham of Moline, Illinois.
Vicky was preceded in death by her parents Helen Scobey Harvey and William Henry Harvey, husband and a daughter Virginia Mae “Ginny” Francis on July 4, 2025, and a brother William R. Harvey.
