Teutopolis, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The Village of Teutopolis will begin a sidewalk improvement project along the north side of Route 40 from John Street to St. Francis Township Road on September 8, 2026. Construction is expected to continue through mid-November.
Residents should be aware that temporary driveway access restrictions may occur during the project. Affected property owners will receive advance notice from the contractor.
The Village appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation as these improvements are completed to enhance pedestrian safety and accessibility.
