Sloan Kessinger and Tiffany Stewart officially took ownership of The Human Bean located at 406 N Keller Dr on March 1, 2026. As first-time The Human Bean franchise partners, the group is eager to build on the strong foundation already established in Effingham while continuing to serve high-quality beverages with the brand’s signature WITH A BEAN ON TOP® customer experience.
To mark the transition, the new owners are hosting a weeklong grand opening celebration designed to bring the community together and give customers exciting chances to try The Human Bean’s signature offerings. The festivities begin with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Monday, May 11th at 10 a.m., kicking off several days of specials and celebrations.
That same day, Monday, May 11th, guests can enjoy 50% off drink items with the purchase of any sandwich or egg bites, making it the perfect opportunity to pair a favorite beverage with breakfast or lunch. The celebration continues on Tuesday, May 12th, when customers can cool off with $1 off granitas, The Human Bean’s signature frozen espresso drinks, followed by Wednesday, May 13th, where Rewards App members can take advantage of Double Rewards on their purchases.
On Thursday, May 14th, guests can stop by for $1 off any drink, and the excitement builds into Friday, May 15th, featuring 50% off Bright® Energy drinks—The Human Bean’s proprietary energy drink made with clean caffeine—offering a refreshing boost ahead of the weekend.
The week culminates in a grand finale on Saturday, May 16th, when customers can take advantage of a buy-one-get-one-free drink offer (of equal or lesser value), alongside the location’s main celebration event.
Saturday’s festivities promise a lively, family-friendly atmosphere. Visitors can expect goodie bag giveaways, and drive-thru surprises running from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Guests will also have the opportunity to sample Bright® Energy drinks along with sweet treats like cookies and cinnamon rolls.
