Clay County, IL-(Effingham Radio)- From the Clay County Sheriff’s Office:
On March 22, 2024, at approximately 8:20 a.m. the Clay County Sheriff’s Office and U.S. Marshals Service conducted an operation in Larkinsburg Township relating to a Clay County Arrest Warrant. The subject was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Clay County Jail.
As a result of this incident Isac L. Fancher, 46, of Edgewood, was arrested on two Clay County No Bond Warrants. The first warrant was for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Aggravated Assault and the latest warrant was for the new charges of Home Invasion, Aggravated Domestic Battery, and two counts of Aggravated Battery. Fancher was incarcerated at the Clay County Jail at the time of this release and is awaiting his first appearance in Clay County Court.
The sheriff’s office was also assisted by Clay County State’s Attorney Phil Givens and a private helicopter company with this operation.
The charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
