Survivors And Families Of Killed Amazon Workers In Warehouse Collapse Speak Out

Edwardsville, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The survivors and families of workers killed in the collapse of an Illinois Amazon warehouse are speaking out.

The mother of one-of-six workers killed said Amazon had plenty of time to alert its workers for safety, and they need to be held responsible. Several employees said they were threatened with losing their job if they left work to seek shelter.

Part of an Amazon warehouse collapsed in December of 2021 when a tornado touched down in Edwardsville, just northeast of St. Louis.
