WHAT:Personal Injury Traffic Crash
WHERE:Route 50 at a residence in the 1500 block of E. Poplar Street, Odin IL
WHEN:April 26, 2022 at approximately 1:00 p.m.
VEHICLE:Unit 1– 2015 Black Cadillac CTS
Unit 2- 2007 Maroon Suzuki
DRIVER:Unit 1- Morgan S. McGee, 38-year-old female from Salem, IL –
Unit 2- Unoccupied
PRELIMINARY: A preliminary investigation indicates the following occurred: Unit 1 was traveling eastbound on Route 50 near the 1500 block of E. Poplar Street. Unit 1 driver lost control of her vehicle due to a previously known medical condition. Unit 1 crossed over the westbound lanes of traffic, into the driveway of a residence. Unit 1 struck a parked vehicle (Unit 2) at the residence and then Unit 1 and Unit 2 struck the southwest corner of the residence.
CHARGES:Unit 1 driver was cited for Improper Lane Usage.
All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
