- Interstate 24 westbound at milepost 16.5, Johnson County
WHEN:
- April 16, 2022 at approximately 7:30 a.m.
VEHICLE:
- Unit 1 – 2014 Silver Nissan Sentra
DRIVER:
- Unit 1 – 25-year-old female from Pomona, CA – Deceased
PRELIMINARY:
- Preliminary investigative details indicate the following occurred: For unknown reasons, the driver of Unit 1 lost control and swerved off the right side of the roadway while entering the construction zone. Unit 1 struck a tree with the driver’s side of the vehicle. The driver was pronounced deceased on the scene.
