WHAT:
- Single Vehicle Personal Injury Traffic Crash
WHERE:
- Elbow Lane and Higgin Switch Road, Richland County
WHEN:
- Jan. 15, 2022 at approximately 2 a.m.
VEHICLE:
- Unit 1– 2013 Gold Buick Enclave
DRIVER:
- Unit 1- Wendy S. Dunfee, 31-year-old female of Sumner, IL – Deceased
PRELIMINARY:
- A preliminary investigation indicates the following occurred: Unit 1 was traveling west on Elbow Road just west of Higgins Switch Road. Unit 1 exited the roadway to the left and struck a tree. The driver of Unit 1 was pronounced deceased at the scene. No further information is available.
