Clark County, IL -(Effingham Radio)- The Following Preliminary Information is Being Released by Illinois State Police District 12:
WHAT:
- Single Unit Traffic Crash with Injury
WHERE:
- US Route 40 westbound, just east of Marshall, Clark County
WHEN:
- April 21, 2021 at 5:53 a.m.
VEHICLE:
- Unit 1 – Red Nissan Xterra SUV
DRIVER:
- Unit 1 –Isabella P. Marino, a 21-year-old female from Terre Haute, IN – Transported by ambulance to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
PRELIMINARY:
- Preliminary investigative details indicate the following occurred: Unit 1 was traveling west on US Route 40, just east of Marshall. Unit 1 lost traction and crossed over the divided traffic island. Unit 1 struck the guardrail and overturned. The driver of Unit 1 was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No further information will be disseminated at this time.
