39 year old, Amanda G. Hoffman, of Vandalia, IL, was booked by Effingham County Sheriff’s Department on an 18 month IDOC sentence for Deceptive Practice.
40 year old, Aaron B. Coulter, of Pana, IL, was booked by Effingham County Sheriff’s Department on a 90 day Effingham County sentence to jail for Possession Of Methamphetamine (<5 Grams).
38 year old, Daniel G. Gillman, of Effingham, IL, was arrested on an Effingham County warrant for Contempt. Gillman posted $100 plus fees.

39 year old, Jamie J. Branom, of Xenia, IL, was arrested by Effingham County Sheriff’s Department for Unlawful Possession Of Cannabis By A Driver and a Clay County FTA warrant for Possession Of Methamphetamine.

December 31, 2019

At 6:43 A.M. east of the intersection of Willow and Eiche a semi driven by Timothy P. Mueller, 53, Neoga, sideswiped a vehicle driven by Dennis W. Meyer, 61, Effingham. No injuries and no citations.
At 5:05 P.M. at 1204 Ave of Mid America a vehicle driven by Debra K. Kreke, 60, Effingham, pulled in front of and was struck by a vehicle driven by Gavin A. Hoene, 20, Effingham. The impact caused Hoene’s vehicle to strike a vehicle driven by Torrance L. Stephens, 17, Sigel. No injuries. Kreke was ticketed for Failure to Yield.

At 3:56 P.M. east of the intersection of Eiche and Banker a vehicle driven by Charles W. Brewbaker, 43, St. Elmo, backed into a vehicle driven by Chad K. Hoopingarner, 42, Mattoon. No injuries and no citations.
