- 46 year old, John L. Mulvaney, of Kinmundy, IL, was arrested by Effingham County Sheriff’s Department on a Marion County FTA warrant for Possession Of Methamphetamine.
- 34 year old, Jeremy A. Kreke, Effingham, IL, was arrested by Effingham County Sheriff’s Department on a Cumberland County FTA warrant for Violating An Order Of Protection. Kreke posted $175 and was released.

September 25, 2019
- At 7:31 A.M. at the intersection of 3rd and Fayette a Unit 40 School Bus driven by Leland E. Knierim, 69, Effingham, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Rita E. Ruesken, 60, Effingham. The school bus was carrying passengers; however, no injuries were reported. Knierim was ticketed for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident.
