- 35 year old, Tanya L. Evans, of Altamont, IL, was arrested by Effingham County Sheriff’s Department on an Effingham County FTA warrant for Contempt and a Fayette County FTA warrant for Operating An Uninsured Motor Vehicle.
- 59 year old, Connie S. Stortzum, of Beecher City, IL, was arrested by Effingham County Sheriff’s Department for Driving Under The Influence (Alcohol) and Failure To Reduce Speed To Avoid An Accident. Stortzum posted $300.
- 30 year old, Jeremy R. James, of Sauk Village, IL, was arrested by Effingham County Sheriff’s Department on an Effingham County FTA warrant for Aggravated Identification Theft ($10k-$100k).

- 39 year old, Jeremy R. Shaffer, of St. Peter, IL, was arrested by Altamont Police Department for Driving While License Is Revoked and a Clay County FTA warrant for Driving While License Is Revoked. Shaffer posted $350.
- 30 year old, Terry L. Decker, of Idaho Falls, ID, was arrested by Effingham Police Department for Disorderly Conduct.

- At 6:03 P.M. at 806 Fayette a vehicle driven by Niekah M. Torres, 20, Carterville backed into a vehicle driven by Cheryl L. Brian, 53, Effingham. No injuries and no citations.
May 20, 2019
- At 4:39 P.M. south of the intersection of N. Keller and W. Evergreen a vehicle driven by Bryce R. Lohman, 19, Effingham, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Diana D. Higgins, 54, Olney. A passenger in Higgins’ vehicle, James M. Higgins, 61, Olney, sustained injury and was transported by ambulance to HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital for treatment. Lohman was ticketed for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident.

- At 9:30 A.M. at 1200 W. Fayette an unknown vehicle struck a parked vehicle owned by Samantha R. Steele, Effingham. No injuries and no citations at this time.
