- 22 year old, Jared W. Sapp, of Effingham, IL, was arrested by Effingham Police Department for Forgery, an Effingham County FTA warrant for Possession Of Methamphetamine, a Coles County FTA warrant for Burglary and a Rock Island County warrant for Retail Theft.
April 16, 2019
- 57 year old, Randy G. Green, of Flora, IL, was arrested by Effingham Police Department on a Clay County warrant for Possession Of Methamphetamine (>5 grams).

CRASHES
April 10, 2019
- At 4:13 P.M. at the intersection of Banker and Fayette a vehicle driven by Johnnie L. Griggs, 70, St. Elmo, sideswiped a vehicle driven by Jayde M. Lake, 19, Effingham. No injuries. Griggs was ticketed for Improper Lane Usage.
- At 4:48 P.M. at the intersection of Fayette and Fayette Frontage a vehicle driven by Barbara J. Stiles, 73, Wapakoneta, OH, turned into the path of and was struck by a vehicle driven by Mackenzie N. Banning, 16, Mason. Stiles sustained injuries but refused treatment. Banning and a passenger in Stiles’ vehicle, David B. Stiles, 75, Wapakoneta, OH, sustained injuries and both were transported by ambulance to HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital for treatment. Barbara Stiles was ticketed for Failure to Yield.

- At 8:39 A.M. at 2500 N. 3rd an unknown semi struck a parked semi owned by Freightstar, Elmhurst. No injuries and no citations at this time.
