- At 5:10 P.M. at the intersection of 3rd and Technology a vehicle driven by Heidi S. Hays, 38, Greenup, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Kelley L. Ronan, 52, Effingham. No injuries and no citations.
- At 11:32 P.M. at the intersection of 3rd and Fayette a vehicle driven by Jeremy A. Wenthe, 43, Effingham, struck a vehicle driven by Lori J. Schoonover, 49, Newton. Schoonover sustained injuries and was transported by ambulance to HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital for treatment. Wenthe was ticketed for Driving Under the Influence and Disobeying Traffic Control Device.

- At 5:01 P.M. at 2500 Veterans a vehicle driven by Sherri E. Criner, 49, Effingham, lost control and left the roadway, striking a power pole. Criner sustained injuries and was transported by ambulance to HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital for treatment. Criner was ticketed for Improper Lane Usage.
