- 43 year old, Keith L. Wiseman, of Shumway, IL, was arrested by Effingham County Sheriff’s Department on a Christian County FTA warrant for Knowingly Causing Damage To Property (>$300).
- 44 year old, Courtney R. King, of Mt. Vernon, IL, was arrested by Effingham County Sheriff’s Department for Driving Under The Influence, Possession Of A Hypodermic Needle, Improper Lane Usage, Fail To Reduce Speed To Avoid An Accident and Possession Of Methamphetamine.
- 33 year old, Javier R. Rich, of Effingham, IL, was arrested by Effingham Police Department for Criminal Trespassing.
- 33 year old, Mark C. Barnes, of Effingham, IL, was arrested by Effingham Police Department for Possession Of Methamphetamine and Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia.

- 43 year old, Jeremy A. Wenthe, of Effingham, IL, was arrested by Effingham Police Department for Driving Under The Influence (Alcohol) and Disobeying A Traffic Control Device. Wenthe posted $300 and was released.

- At 10:11 A.M. at the intersection of Fayette and 4th a vehicle driven by Teresa A. White, 38, Vandalia, collided with a vehicle driven by Kelsey P. Appelt, 24, Effingham. No injuries and no citations.
- At 12:54 P.M. at the intersection of 3rd and Wabash a vehicle driven by Mary E. Dasenbrock, 77, Effingham, struck a vehicle driven by Nicole M. Clapp, 31, Toledo. No injuries and no citations.
- At 8:10 P.M. at the intersection of Keller and Hampton a vehicle driven by Wyatt N. Sparks, 16, Effingham, struck a vehicle driven by David L. Hoesli, 67, Effingham. No injuries. Sparks was ticketed for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident.
March 25, 2019
- At 7:06 A.M. at the intersection of Keller and Temple a vehicle driven by Kwadwo Annan, 69, Effingham, struck a vehicle driven by Neva M. Baker, 89, Effingham. Annan sustained injuries and was transported by ambulance to HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital for treatment. Annan was ticketed for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident.
