- 48 year old, Johnny P. Dunn, of Brownstown, IL, was arrested by Effingham County Sheriff’s Department on a Harrison County, IN warrant for Resisting Law Enforcement and Criminal Recklessness With A Weapon.
- 49 year old, Mona L. Duckwitz, of Altamont, IL, was arrested by Effingham County Sheriff’s Department on a Shelby County warrant for Failure To Appear on the original charge of Operating An Uninsured Motor Vehicle. Duckwitz was transferred to Shelby County.

- At 4:30 P.M. at the intersection of Maple and Temple vehicles driven by Gale H. Mills, 84, Brown City, MI, and Brian D. Hartke, 62, Effingham, collided. No injuries and no citations.

- At 8:27 A.M. at 1502 W. Fayette a vehicle driven by Leonard D. Hite, 52, Dahlonega, GA, struck and damaged an awning owned by Wortman Properties, Effingham. No injuries. Hite was ticketed for Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle.

- At 2:45 P.M. at the intersection of 3rd and Rickelman a vehicle driven by Paul K. McGuire, 50, Stewardson, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Muhaned M. AlAbbas, 40, Dearborn, MI. No injuries and no citations.

- At 10:35 A.M. south of the intersection of Hoffman and Blohm a vehicle driven by Jennifer L. Bates, 37, Vandalia, slid off the snow-covered roadway, struck a curb and proceeded to strike and damage a stop sign. No injuries and no citations.
