- 33 year old, Danielle R Pagel, of Altamont was arrested by the Effingham County Sheriff’s Department for contempt of court for a failed drug test. Pagel posted $150.
- 36 year old, Eric L Miller, of Watson was arrested by the Effingham County Sheriff’s Department for driving while license is suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Miller posted $150.
- 19 year old, Kyree L Lacey, of Indianapolis, Indiana was arrested by the Effingham County Sheriff’s Department on an Effingham County warrant for forgery.

- 23 year old, Mitchell T Ragland, of Effingham was arrested by the Effingham County Sheriff’s Department for possession of a controlled substance (2), and an Effingham County failure to appear warrant for aggravated driving while under the influence/license suspended or revoked.

- 21 year old, Cassie Casteel, of Calhoun was arrested on a Clay County failure to appear warrant for forgery. Casteel appeared in court and was released.
December 15, 2017
- 29 year old, Jerald Charles, of Hazelton, Indiana was arrested on a Clay County failure to appear warrant for possession of a stolen vehicle and driving while under the influence of alcohol. Charles posted bond and was released.
December 17, 2017
- 28 year old, Bradley Berscheid, of Clay City was arrested on a Clay County failure to appear warrant for no valid driver’s license. Berscheid posted bond and was released.
Crashes
December 15, 2017
- At 12:32 p.m. south of the intersection of Dieterich Blacktop and Athens Lane, 18 year old, Sara Kocher, of Clay City was travelling north on the Dieterich Blacktop, ran off the roadway, over corrected and left the roadway to the left. The vehicle apparently rolled several times. She was transported to St. Anthony’s Hospital for her injuries.

- At 12:00 p.m. at 6881 Old Hwy 50, 34 year old, Joshua Ferguson, of Flora was travelling west on Old Hwy 50 when his vehicle left the roadway, went in the ditch and struck a utility pole. He was cited for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident. He was given a Notice to Appear and released

- At 1:02 p.m. north of the intersection of Big Four Road and Snowberry, a 16 year old female from Fairfield was travelling north on Big Four Road, ran off the roadway, and came to rest. Minor injuries reported.
All persons listed are innocent until proven guilty in the court of law.
