Matthew Carpenter will take the Official Oath for new firefighters at Tuesday’s Effingham City Council Meeting. Legacy Harley Davidson will also be presented with the Business appreciation Award.
The council will also discuss a resolution that will allow the city to be reimbursed for any local funds advanced related to the Police Facility Project and any forthcoming bond issues related to the new police facility design and construction.
Discussion will also occur on downtown rehabilitation project by A-1 Food Mart and the PUSH for Wellness Program.
The city will also consider an agreement with R.E. Pedrotti Co. Inc. for periodic service of the Water Treatment Plant.
The Effingham City Council meets at 6 p.m. in the City Council Chambers in Effngham City Hall located at 201 E. Jefferson Avenue.
