Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Majority of Americans are worried about the rising costs associated with everyday goods. A new JD Power survey found that 46 percent of respondents said they were “somewhat” worried that the prices of essentials will increase over the next three months while 41 percent said they were “extremely” worried about that occurring.
The findings come as data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics show prices for all items rose by six-tenths of a percentage point from March to April, driving annual inflation to three-point-eight percent. The JD Power survey also noted that the 87 percent of respondents who said they were worried about prices rising marks a two percentage point increase from February’s polling results.
