Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- On Friday, April 24, our Livestock and Horticulture teams competed at the State FFA Career Development Events on the campus of Illinois State University. Our Livestock team competed against over 120 teams and earned a strong 33rd placing. A shoutout goes to River Yingst for leading the team as our top scorer!

The Horticulture team had the opportunity to complete a floral arrangement practicum, something they had not experienced at previous contests. The team placed 35th out of 58 teams. A shout-out to Gianna Carrow for leading the team as top scorer.
We are proud of both teams for their hard work, growth, and willingness to take on new challenges throughout the season!
