
Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- We have another chance of severe weather tonight.
While a few strong to severe thunderstorms are possible anywhere across central and southeast Illinois this evening, there is a higher risk of it over west central Illinois (level 2 of 5). In this area, the primary threat will be hail around quarter size.
Unsettled weather is on tap across central Illinois over the next few days. Showers and the chance of thunderstorms will continue through tomorrow night. After that, conditions will dry out but become cooler as highs drop back into the 50s and lower 60s through Thursday. Overnight lows will be in the 40s through the week.
